Hawaii was the destination of choice for my grandmothers 75th birthday. And no one in the family complained about the selection. Hawaii had been on the list for a while and I can honestly say I haven’t stopped dreaming about returning since the day I left.
Our days were filled with lots of sunshine, ocean air and any hikes we could fit in.
DIAMOND HEAD.
We set out on a morning hike to catch the sunrise from the top of Diamond Head. We ubered to the start and walked back to the hotel after. We had to run a decent amount of the way to get up there before the crowd and the sunrise, as the gates were closed when we originally got there.
